The fiercely green spikes of the crocosmia are starting to emerge from the rocks around the garden and the ferns are slowly starting to unfurl.
Everything is getting ready to go.

We went to the Tatton Biennale at Tatton Park today.
Scattered around these gardens are some really nice pieces of art. This is one is by far the most compelling. Part tea-house, part sculpture, it’s truly wonderful to be in - the scent of the wood is so powerful I think I can still smell it now.
And seeing it shimmering on the water makes it seem so organic that it is almost unreal.
We also thought it would make a perfect home for this tororo

The evenings are starting to get longer already. Now I can sit at my lounge window and gaze over over our garden at my own leisure - things are starting to come to life - such an exciting time of year

I took more time with this…I’m not sure it is better. Some of the has gone out of it, somehow.

I bought these shoes years ago in Spain. The leather is so soft it is unbelievable, and so giving that it is like wearing slippers.
Little Miss loves them too - she keeps taking the laces out and hiding them from me!
